Health Equity/Wage Works had mass direct deposit system failures for December 12th and 16th distributions according to a company leadership team member impacting many City of Philadelphia workers. According to a December 27, 2024 email:

“There were missed direct deposits which were picked up on the 12/23/24 run. If you still have not received your funds by the 27th end of business day, please give us a call at 877–924–3967 and reference this case.”

One employee said they’ve been calling since December 12th and the company kept telling them the money was deposited and call back. Today, December 31, 2024, a WageWorks leadership team member said she was going to “reopen the ticket” for their $300.00 reimbursement.

For the thousands who commute to Center City and pay the $300+ a month, the missed December reimbursements cause a major hardship during the holiday season. For many disabled workers, and busy parents, driving and parking is the safest and quickest way to get to work and after work obligations like school pick-ups, etc.
