I think about this especially with talented, problematic people in our communities - like all the brilliant, rich and philanthropic predators.

Does talent, money and donations really overshadow the hurt and harm they cause?

If someone steals a car, but does a good job maintaining it, keeps it clean and running smooth - it doesn't negate the fact that the car is stolen. Too many people are willing to ride in stolen cars and pretend they don't know the car is stolen...

We have to be able to call a thing a thing (Iyanla Vanzant) and be ok with walking in THE truth. Sometimes our favorite person, singer, film maker is a predator and we should stop supporting them.

Sometimes our wonderful, beloved relatives cheated, were abusive and held the family hostage with their lies and anger when the truth was revealed.

This really hit home as you can tell... Thank you
