Great piece and analysis. You made some valid points about his experiences and tax bracket shaping his perspective, but no amount of money will protect his son from eventually facing the ugly reality of racism, but I agree learning about our full history (not just the pain, shame and oprression) would help him understand who he is and why racism exists.
